In December 2024, I began working at the Mriya Gallery as a gallery assistant. Just a few months later, in February 2025, the gallery owner offered me the opportunity to curate my first exhibition with full creative autonomy. I made my curatorial debut in May 2025 with an exhibition titled “Roses of Heliogabalus & The Opulence of Ruin,” which explored the tensions between beauty and violence, as well as the ways artists convey classical allusions through a contemporary visual language. The exhibition was a great success and was extended several times, after which I became a full-time curator at the Mriya Gallery.
My role spans the entire curatorial process—from concept development and thematic research to artist and artwork selection, coordination, and relationship management. I oversee all logistical aspects, including international shipping, installation layout, and scheduling, while also leading media outreach to maximize visibility and audience engagement. My other curatorial projects for Mriya include “Refractions” (Summer 2025), a group exhibition, and “The Beast and the Sky” (Fall 2025), my first solo exhibition curation featuring the spectacular Ukrainian artist Denis Sarazhin.
In Fall 2025, I became the gallery’s manager, overseeing both its operational and artistic direction.
